The ADA 20th Anniversary will be celebrated in Vermont on July 22, 2010 from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm.
VCIL is hosting its' annual ADA party on the statehouse lawn in Montpelier. This year's event co-sponsor is the Department for the Blind and Visually Impaired. The theme revolves around "What Vermonter's are doing to promote/further the ADA". Main event speaker is a person who immigrated to the US from Japan due to the ADA. State legislators, municipal officials and Vermont's federal delegation will attend along with an expected 700 guests. A picnic lunch will be served at no charge beneath four tents on the lower lawn.
