Making Computers and Internet Accessible to People with Disabilities
EDC&I 494 or REHAB 496 ("Making Computers and Internet Accessible to People with Disabilities") at the University of Washington is a three-credit class designed for rehabilitation counselors, physical therapists, occupational therapists, educators and administrators in K-12 and higher education, librarians, educational technologists, people with disabilities, and parents of people with disabilities. It provides an overview of assistive technology used with computers, policy and management issues, and guidelines for the design and use of accessible electronic and information technology.
