Zakim Bridge Walk Set for Sunday, May 12

WalkBoston is proud to be a co-sponsor of the free, public walk on the Zakim-Bunker Hill Bridge on Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 12.

This is the only scheduled opportunity for the public to be on the bridge until it opens for vehicle-only traffic in November. Not only is the bridge astonishing, but there are incomparable views of Boston, Cambridge and beyond from the deck.

The walk will take place from Noon to 5 p.m. Walkers are advised to try to come early in the day, if possible, as the Boston Celtics will be playing the Detroit Pistons in the NBA playoffs at 3 p.m. at the adjacent FleetCenter.
